Crafted in 100% organic cotton, the “Purane Tukde” Patchwork T-Shirt is built from old fragments of Indian block-printed motifs , this piece features a full front panel of hand-cut, hand-placed block-printed linen patches, arranged like an archive of forgotten patterns. Each patch carries symbols from older print traditions — a scattered gallery of stories, rituals and forgotten forms.
The raw embroidery bordering every patch is done by hand, giving the tee a lived, unfinished, human touch.
No two garments are the same — the placement and stitching will always vary, making every piece truly one of one.
This T-shirt is made to order.
Each garment takes up to a week to produce as the printing and embroidery work is done patiently, one step at a time.
